United Communities of Molinos, is the name and collective brand of an organization that brings together 24 rural communities and villages from the Calchaquí Salteño Valley, near National Route 40. In these communities, women are usually the ones who raise the sheep in mixed herds with goats, they hand shear their animals and then spindle spinning while accompanying them to graze on the hill. Finally, with the yarns they knit by hand and generally, it is the men who make the weaving in loom.
